Wednesday to Sunday
10am - 12:30pm and 1:30pm - 5pm

July 1 to August 31
Wednesday to Sunday
10am - 12:30pm and 1:30pm - 6pm

September 1 to October 31
Wednesday to Sunday
10am - 12:30pm and 1:30pm - 5pm

Please note: last access to the monument 30 minutes before closing time.

Closed from November 1 to March 31 and May 1.

During this period, the monument is open to groups by reservation only.

Charroux Abbey is located in the heart of the village of Charroux.
Numerous parking lots are available.

Services and visiting conditions

  • Possibility of resting during the visit
  • Suitcases and large bags are not permitted. Small bags (smaller than cabin size) are permitted.
  • Animals are not allowed, even in a carry-on bag, with the exception of guide dogs for the blind or for assistance.
  • Smoking and eating are not permitted inside the monument.
  • The monument is not accessible to minors unaccompanied by a responsible adult.
